According to the report, using heat pumps instead of boilers and conventional heating systems can replace 80% of the gas used for building heating, which can play an important role in achieving carbon neutrality in the built environment and promoting energy security.

Johnson Controls' heat pump customers have achieved significant results not only in reducing carbon emissions but also in reducing water consumption, bringing them closer to achieving their sustainability goals.

For example, in Denmark, a data center customer was able to use heat pumps as a cooling solution through Johnson Controls' optimized system design.

As a result of recovering heat from district heating systems instead of using traditional evaporative water cooling technology, 132 million kg (132,000 tons) of water was saved annually.
