Keysight and Kookmin University Sign MOU to Foster Next-Generation Telecommunications Talent
Prospects for establishing cooperative relationships, such as the development and operation of industry-academia linked educational programs

Keysight Technologies Korea (hereinafter Keysight) has signed a business agreement with Kookmin University and is actively stepping forward to foster talent in the field of next-generation communications by donating next-generation integrated electronic design automation (EDA) software worth 23.6 billion won to Kookmin University to establish a system for cultivating innovative talent in next-generation communications.

Keysight and Kookmin University announced on the 19th that they signed a business agreement at the Kookmin University Main Building to create a leading model of industry-academia cooperation utilizing next-generation integrated electronic design automation (EDA) software and to establish a national-level talent development system in advanced fields.

Keysight Korea CEO Lee Sun-woo, Managing Director Won Yong-jun, Department Head Kim Ki-won, Director Lim Heon-bin, Kookmin University President Jeong Seung-ryeol, Head of Industry-Academic Cooperation Lee In-hyeong, Head of Next-Generation Communication Business Group Park Jun-seok (Professor of Electronic Engineering), and Team Leader Seo Jun-kyung of the LINC 3.0 Project Group attended the signing ceremony and discussed cooperation plans to foster "Pi-shaped talents in next-generation communication and quantum security who communicate with the future world."

Starting with the donation of next-generation integrated Electronic Design Automation (EDA) software worth 23.6 billion won, Keysight Korea, together with Kookmin University, [conducts] industry-academia collaborations such as field training and capstone design It is expected that an organic cooperative relationship will be established through the development and operation of educational programs and the development and operation of educational programs for incumbent industry employees.
