The 2024 SME Innovation Voucher became available for use starting from the beginning of the year. Companies wishing to use the voucher must apply for and be selected for the Innovation Voucher support program for which announcements have been made.

The Ministry of SMEs and Startups (Minister Lee Young) announced on the 12th that it is conducting the '1st Announcement for the 2024 SME Innovation Voucher Support Program,' which provides a package of consulting, technical support, and marketing to strengthen the competitiveness of manufacturing SMEs.

This announcement is intended to pre-select the recipients of support for 2020 so that manufacturing SMEs can use the voucher service from the beginning of the year.

The 'SME Innovation Voucher Support Program' provides services in the fields of consulting, technology support, and marketing in a voucher format to companies whose main business is manufacturing, categorized into general, carbon-neutral management innovation, recovery consulting, and regional autonomy types, in order to strengthen the innovation capabilities of SMEs and help SMEs in management crisis recover.

The total support budget for 2024 is 55.8 billion won (based on the government proposal), and through this first announcement, there are plans to provide approximately 40 billion won across three types of vouchers: general vouchers, carbon-neutral management innovation vouchers, and re-establishment consulting vouchers. Services are provided to selected companies up to a limit of 50 million won.

The second announcement will be made for one type of regional autonomous voucher worth approximately 15 billion won, and is scheduled to take place in the first half of next year in conjunction with the regional specialized project Legend 50+.

The 'SME Innovation Voucher Program' is scheduled to be announced on the Ministry of SMEs and Startups website (www.mss.go.kr) starting from the 13th, and companies wishing to participate can apply online through the Innovation Voucher Platform website (www.mssmiv.com).
