Agilent Korea (CEO and President Yoon Deok-kwon) has launched a general-purpose AC power source product line that delivers stable and reliable power for electronic device testing during the design and manufacturing process. The newly released Agilent AC6800 series includes four models with output power ranging from 500VA to 4000VA, equipped with the quality and functionality required for general-purpose testing.

For simple test applications, electronic device designers and manufacturers will need a general-purpose AC power source to simulate utility outlet power or global AC power. Additionally, when encountering voltage fluctuations, severe inrush currents, and transient spikes that appear in today's saturated power grids, it is necessary to verify that AC power products are operating correctly. The AC6800 series general-purpose power source is particularly ideal in such situations when supplying power to devices under test.

The AC6800 series general-purpose AC power source provides an intuitive user interface that allows engineers to easily access and view configuration and measurement information through front panel operation or programming using SCPI (standard commands for programmable instruments).

The AC6800 series source is supplied with LAN/LXI Core and USB interfaces. Additionally, GPIB interface is available as an option. The LXI Core interface enables users to remotely install and control the power supply through a standard web interface. Users can also add an analog input board option to incorporate basic transient waveforms into the source.

The AC6800 series reduces cost of ownership through Agilent's three-year warranty and global support, while enhancing engineer confidence in AC source uptime.
