RCRC design with PCA probe head provided, reducing tip wire burden

Keysight Technologies (NYSE: KEYS) has expanded its high-frequency probe portfolio to support bandwidths up to 52 GHz.

Keysight announced on the 14th that it has launched the InfiniiMax 4 series wide-bandwidth oscilloscope probes.

The industry's only solution with a high-impedance probe head operating above 50 GHz, the InfiniiMax 4 Series provides digital designers with a turnkey probing solution for high-speed digital, semiconductor, and wafer applications.

As devices become smaller and faster, accurately probing signals becomes increasingly complex.

High-density integration and fast signal speeds require advanced probing solutions that can minimize interference while maintaining accuracy in small-scale, high-speed environments.

Keysight's InfiniiMax 4 Series probes address these challenges by providing a high-impedance probing solution for system verification without loading the device under test (DUT), accelerating high-speed digital design, verification, and test.

The new InfiniiMax 4 series supports PCIe 6.0/7.0, DDR5/DDR6, MIPI Gear 5/6 offers the industry's only probing solution supporting Brickwall up to 52 GHz and Bessel-Thompson bandwidth up to 40 GHz for 802.3CK.

This allows for a turnkey solution with a modular design featuring amplifiers and high-impedance probe heads that have multiple access points and do not require custom evaluation boards or interposers, saving time and minimizing errors.

Additionally, it offers an industry-first RCRC design with a flexible PCA probe head, which utilizes the inherent flexibility of the PCA to eliminate stress on the delicate tip wire.

Detachable flex PCA tips allow for the removal and replacement of even the most delicate tip sections, and compatibility with Keysight's real-time UXR-B Series oscilloscopes and InfiniiMax III probe heads extends the investment reach of your equipment.
