Vertiv, a company specializing in core digital infrastructure and continuity solutions, announced on the 2nd that it has appointed Kim Sung-yeop as the new President and Head of Vertiv Korea, who will oversee the Korean business.

With 25 years of experience, President Kim Seong-yeop is an industry veteran with extensive knowledge and understanding of digital trends, the 4th Industrial Revolution, and ESG that are penetrating the domestic market. Prior to joining Vertiv, he held various positions including sales, technical support, business management, and management at Cognex, IBM, Schneider Electric, and Danfoss, and served as a key executive in several associations.

Mr. Kim Seong-yeop received his MBA from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and completed his doctoral studies at the Graduate School of Technology Management at Korea University. As the vice president of the Korea Sustainable Campus Association, he has given lectures to various companies and organizations on various efforts and methodologies for a sustainable future. Last year, he published a self-development book, “Lucky Reflection,” for career growth mentoring for working people and prospective working people.
