Anadigics' new wireless infrastructure power amplifier provides a unique combination of output power, efficiency, and linearity for microcells, picocells, and femtocells.
June 15, 2011 – ANADIGICS, Inc. (Korea Representative: Kyung-Min Kim), a global leader in radio frequency (RF) and mixed-signal semiconductor solutions, today launched the AWB7223 small cell power amplifier (PA). The AWB7223 expands ANADIGICS’ portfolio of wireless infrastructure power amplifiers optimized for small cell base station applications. Recently, mobile experts have been emphasizing the importance of small cell solutions that support the capacity requirements of mobile broadband networks, forecasting that shipments of these devices will grow from 2.6 million units this year to 20 million units in 2014.

The AWB7223 PA delivers best-in-class power efficiency through high levels of linear output power for WCDMA, HSPA, and LTE small cell base station operations in the 1930 MHz to 1990 MHz frequency band.
