Keysight Technologies has been selected as a solution partner for NVIDIA's 6G Research Cloud Platform.

Keysight Technologies announced today that it is collaborating on the new NVIDIA 6G Research Cloud platform. The platform includes NVIDIA Aerial Omniverse Digital Twin, an open framework that provides researchers with comprehensive tools for developing new AI (artificial intelligence) systems for Radio Access Networks (RAN).

Keysight said, “Researchers can leverage Keysight’s comprehensive network emulation products to develop and evaluate new approaches to optimizing wireless communication access.”

6G research is progressing rapidly in its early stages, and it is increasingly likely that 6G will be the first wireless generation to incorporate AI. Consequently, leveraging new AI algorithmic approaches will require large-scale emulation of real-world network conditions. Additionally, tools that realistically emulate all parts of a wireless system are needed to train, train, and fine-tune AI algorithms before commercialization.

Keysight said it will add a comprehensive network emulation and test solution, encompassing everything from end-to-end networks to the NVIDIA 6G Research Cloud, to help 6G researchers build feasible future AI algorithms. Keysight is building a cloud-based version of this solution and making it available on research platforms for flexibility and scalability.

Additionally, "6G researchers will be able to access Keysight solutions under realistic network conditions through the NVIDIA 6G Research Cloud. Keysight's cloud-based network emulation solution will now be even faster and more scalable thanks to NVIDIA's seamless GPU-accelerated network."
