An exhibition will be held where companies and organizations responsible for the future of autonomous driving and mobility technology will gather.

The Korea Autonomous Driving Industry Association and COEX will co-host the 'Autonomous Driving & Mobility Industry Exhibition (AME)' at COEX for three days starting on the 17th.

This industry exhibition, the first of its kind in Korea, is dedicated to autonomous driving. It showcases the future of the industry alongside leading companies in the autonomous driving and mobility sectors, from various technologies for achieving fully autonomous driving (Level 4) to special-purpose and industrial autonomous robots (vehicles).

At the industrial exhibition, a total of 32 companies, including leading domestic autonomous driving industry companies such as Autonomous A2Z, SOS Lab, Lanix, and TRIZ Engineering, as well as research institutes such as the Korea Automotive Research Institute, will showcase their technologies.

At the Autonomous Driving Industry Conference, held simultaneously to promote the autonomous driving industry, autonomous driving policies and support measures were announced by government agencies related to autonomous driving, including the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, the National Police Agency, and the Korean Intellectual Property Office, on the 17th under the theme of “Autonomous Driving Industry Diagnosis.”

On the 18th, there will be a conference on core autonomous driving technologies, including sensors, security, and SDV, and on the 19th, there will be a conference for the general public and a &lsqu for job seekers.o; It is expected to be held in abundance as a ‘Autonomous Driving Industry Job Fair Session’.

In particular, this industry exhibition also featured several side events, including a Korea-UAE autonomous driving global project meeting and networking night, aimed at promoting the development and exchange of the autonomous driving industry.

In his opening remarks at the Korea-UAE autonomous driving global project meeting, Cho Sung-hwan, Chairman of the Korea Autonomous Driving Industry Association, said, “In order for domestic autonomous driving companies to successfully enter the Middle Eastern market, they must thoroughly analyze the Middle East’s transportation infrastructure, regulations, and environment based on an understanding of the local market, and establish and implement effective strategies tailored to the region.” He added, “The Association will also actively contribute to the overseas expansion of domestic autonomous driving companies through various international cooperation and corporate support.”
