SUSE, a leading global open source solutions company, has appointed Dong-Woon Lee as the new CEO of SUSE Korea and is moving to accelerate its growth in the Korean market.


Suse Korea announced on the 12th that it had recently appointed Dong-Woon Lee as its new CEO.

CEO Lee Dong-woon will oversee Suseo Korea's strategic development, business direction setting, and sales target achievement, and will exercise leadership across sales, service, and channel management.

He gained a deep understanding of the Korean market at Cloud Software Group (formerly Citrix Systems) and has achieved successful results in various fields such as cloud services, workspaces, and enterprise application integration.

Mr. Lee Dong-woon, CEO, began his career in pre-sales at Nortel Networks and LG-Nortel before joining Citrix in 2009 and playing a key role in the company's growth.

In particular, since 2015, he has served as the branch manager of Citrix Korea, where he established new teams focusing on cloud services, SaaS, and networking businesses and increased market understanding.

“It is an honor to join SUSE and lead the Korean team,” said CEO Lee Dong-woon.“We will actively support Korean companies’ transition to the cloud based on our strong solution portfolio in the areas of Enterprise Linux, Kubernetes management, edge computing, and AI,” he said.

He also expressed his ambition to "provide clear solutions to address the increasingly complex operating environment and pursue further growth through collaboration with customers and partners."
