Noahnics participated in the 41st International Medical Equipment & Hospital Facilities Exhibition (KIMES 2026), held at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul from March 19 to 22, and showcased its core technology, a hydrophilic coating solution.

At this exhibition, Noahnics attracted the attention of domestic and international medical device industry professionals by focusing on introducing surface coating solutions that simultaneously enhance the performance and safety of medical devices.

Nohanix's representative coating solution is a hydrophilic coating based on hyaluronic acid (HA).

Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring macromolecular substance in the human body characterized by excellent biocompatibility and low rejection reactions.

It is an ingredient already utilized in various medical fields, such as ophthalmic artificial tears, joint injections, and wound healing, and is a safe material approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

In particular, hyaluronic acid has the property of attracting moisture equivalent to thousands of times its own weight, providing excellent lubricity and hydrophilicity when applied to the surface of medical devices.

These coating solutions are applied to the surfaces of medical devices that are inserted into the body or come into direct contact with the human body, such as catheters, guidewires, and endoscopic components.
