As Vision-Language-Action (VLA)-based End-to-End (E2E) autonomous driving technology garners attention as a next-generation AI model for autonomous driving, a specialized seminar will be held to provide an overview of related technology trends and implementation strategies.

The Industrial Education Research Institute announced that it will hold the 'Seminar on Next-Generation VLA-based E2E Autonomous Driving Implementation Strategies Understood with Alpamayo' on July 23rd in a hybrid online and offline format.

Recently, in the field of autonomous driving, VLA-based E2E models that recognize visual information and determine vehicle behavior through language-based reasoning are emerging as a new technological trend.

In particular, Alpamayo is attracting attention as an example demonstrating the potential for efficiency and cost reduction in autonomous driving model development by utilizing simulation environments and standard datasets.

This seminar will examine the background of the emergence of VLA-based E2E technology alongside changes in the autonomous driving industry, and introduce the structure and implementation methods of related models.

The main presentation content consists of: trends in the autonomous driving industry and the background of the emergence of VLA-based E2E technology; an understanding of E2E-VLA-based models; the structure and operation of Alpamayo; execution characteristics of Alpamayo from the perspective of edge inference; Alpamayo optimization cases and directions for efficiency improvement; and directions for next-generation VLA-based E2E autonomous driving technology.

The event is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. and continue until 4:50 p.m.
