AI audio company ElevenLabs announced that it is expanding its AI voice restoration service across various industry sectors including enterprises, media, and education. Cases of recreating past audio sources using voice restoration technology and applying them to new content production are increasing.
ElevenLabs announced on the 18th that its AI voice restoration service is expanding its application range across multiple industry sectors.
This service is based on voice cloning (PVC·Professional Voice Cloning) technology and text-to-speech (TTS) technology. According to the company, by utilizing a small amount of voice samples, it can analyze the speaker's tonal characteristics and utterance patterns, and reproduce voice based on this analysis.
In particular, the company explained that it is designed to restore voice even from recording files containing noise or low-quality archived audio sources.
ElevenLabs stated that the technology can be applied to corporate heritage content and educational materials, broadcast and documentary production, audiobooks, language heritage preservation, and content localization.
The company explained that it signed a contract with SK Inc. earlier this year and conducted a voice material restoration project related to management philosophy.
Additionally, in the media and content sector, it is collaborating with MBC C&I, SBS, and Spoon Labs, and has also secured EastSoft, Krafton, and Naver as customers.
ElevenLabs explained that it can generate new sentences using the restored voice and provides a multilingual model supporting over 70 languages.
Furthermore, through an enterprise plan, it provides data security features and responds to corporate customers' security requirements based on international security certification systems.
Hong Sang-won, Head of ElevenLabs Korea, said, "AI voice technology can become an asset for preserving a company's history and identity," and added, "We plan to expand the application range for companies and institutions that possess archived voices."
