DeepX Acquires 'Green Technology' Certification for Low-Power AI Inference Technology

The products confirmed as green technology products are four types: △DX-M1 M.2 LPDDR5x2 △DX-M1M M.2 (2GB) △DX-H1 V-NPU △DX-H1 Quattro, with certification validity through September 9, 2030.
The high-performance product line also measured operating temperatures 20 degrees or more lower than comparable products.
The NPU was designed to reduce unnecessary data movement and memory access between memory and computing units during AI operations, thereby lowering power consumption while maintaining processing performance.
The Green Certification Review Committee also evaluated this architecture and power and heat reduction effects as technical grounds.
Certified companies and products can receive preferential treatment in areas such as public procurement bonus points, policy funds and guarantees, and overseas market entry support projects.
DeepX expects this certification will help with entry into the public market and expansion of domestic and international business.

DeepX, KT, and Cesol Join Hands for NPU-Based On-Device AIoT Business
DeepX is collaborating with KT and Sesol to co-develop an AI Edge Box equipped with the ultra-low-power NPU chip DX-M1. DEEPX NPU Applied to Air Force AI Perimeter Surveillance System Construction Project
DEEPX's self-developed NPU (Neural Processing Unit) is being applied to the Air Force base AI perimeter surveillance system construction project. The V-NPU technology processes video decoding and AI inference in an integrated manner using only domestic NPU without foreign GPUs, enabling real-time analysis of CCTV footage and detection of anomalous behavior. As the first commercialization case of on-device AI semiconductors in the defense sector, it is evaluated as an opportunity to expand the domestic AI semiconductor ecosystem.
