Samsung Electronics Service Acquires ISMS-P Certification, Industry First in Electronic Product Service Sector

Certification Expanded to Personal Information Protection Management System Through Conformity Evaluation of 101 Items
ISMS-P is an integrated certification system for information protection and personal information protection, jointly overseen by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Personal Information Protection Commission. Certification is granted following examination by a certified assessment body and final review by the Korea Internet & Security Agency and the Financial Security Institute.
Certification can be obtained only by passing conformity evaluation on a total of 101 items including △establishment and operation of information protection management system △system security management △protective measures at each stage of personal information processing.
Subsequently, in 2024, it expanded the certification scope to include sign language consultation and recruitment sites, and this time elevated the level further with ISMS-P certification that encompasses the personal information protection domain.
A Samsung Electronics Service official stated, "The significance of obtaining ISMS-P certification lies in expanding the certification scope to the personal information domain," and added, "We will continue our efforts to ensure customers can use Samsung Electronics products with confidence."

Samsung Electronics Service has been selected as the top company in the service center category in the '2026 Most Respected Companies in Korea' survey. Samsung Electronics Service has ranked first for 16 consecutive years in home appliance after-sales service and 15 consecutive years in mobile and IT device after-sales service on the Korean Industry Service Quality Index (KSQI).
