TeamViewer, an online meeting software company, announced the launch of AirBackup, a cloud-based backup solution. AirBackup enables enterprises to securely protect business data without using on-premises backup infrastructure. It also offers security and easy backup automation.

AirBackup, which has also focused on enhancing security, uses 256-bit AES encryption in conjunction with the private password created by the user during the setup process to prevent unauthorized access to data. Because all data is encrypted locally before transmission, it cannot be accessed by third parties, or even by AirBackup support experts.

AirBackup compresses data to a minimum level before every backup and identifies duplicate data that does not need to be backed up. It identifies data that has changed since the last backup in just one-thousandth of a second and transmits only the changed data. Because of these features, data can be transmitted to external data centers more quickly.

Furthermore, total costs can be reduced because you can protect the security of any number of devices with a single Air Backup flat-rate plan.

Users configure AirBackup backup routines and define necessary reports. With the help of the web-based secure AirBackup Manager, enterprises can centrally control backed-up devices and group them as needed. As a cloud-based solution, it reduces the risk of data loss due to local failures or natural disasters.
