2015 SIMULIA User Conference Held
Published2015.10.26 12:35Dassault Systèmes held the '2015 SIMULIA Regional User Meeting Korea ' at COEX . They presented new features and customer case studies of their simulation brand, ' SIMULIA,' as well as how it can be utilized across various industries and new fields .
At this conference, Roger Keene, Vice President of Dassault Systèmes, will deliver a keynote speech on the theme of " The Power of Simulation to Create Innovation in the Age of Experience , " presenting on the present and future of SIMULIA, which is being utilized in various industries and new fields . In addition , following a keynote speech by Dr. Noh Soo-hong, Program Director of the Daegu Creative Economy Innovation Center, the afternoon will feature presentations on application cases, demo demonstrations , and recently introduced new technologies by technology experts from various fields, including Hyundai Motor Company, Hanwha Techwin , Nexen Tire , Dongkuk Steel , Hyundai Heavy Industries , KDAC ( Delphi Korea ), and Doosan Industrial Vehicles .
SIMULIA offers products that extend beyond the traditional realm of structural analysis to encompass the multiphysics domain . Integrated into the new 3DEXPERIENCE platform, it has contributed to the democratization of simulation and the development of future technologies such as the cloud and the Internet of Things . Dassault Systèmes plans to use this conference to provide information that offers practical help for business innovation and to present innovation strategies aligned with the latest technology trends .
"Dae-eop Kim, Team Leader of the CAE Team at Delphi Korea, stated, ' SIMULIA’s portfolio satisfied the complex CAE analysis requirements of Delphi Korea, which produces over 40 types of automotive parts. ' He added , ' We initially introduced SIMULIA for Break Squeal Noise simulation, but now we are actively utilizing it in various product development processes . '" "As a customer, I have very high expectations for Simulia's portfolio expansion ," he said .
Cho Young-bin, CEO of Dassault Systèmes Korea, said , “ Simulation technology is now going beyond verification tools for product manufacturing to enrich human lives in various fields, ” adding, “ Dassault Systèmes has continuously strengthened the SIMULIA portfolio through active company acquisitions and mergers . We will continue to strive for technological evolution under the motto of ‘ democratization of simulation . ’ ”

Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
Databricks entered the security market on March 24 by unveiling LakeWatch, an open-source agentic SIEM. The core functionality of this product is to integrate and analyze security, IT, and business data in a single environment to support AI-based threat detection and investigation. The company explained that it reduces the limitations of existing security operations centers, which have had to forgo some data due to high cost structures, and enables large-scale data analysis and automation based on open formats and ecosystems. LakeWatch is currently offered as a private preview, with Adobe and Dropbox mentioned as early customers. Databricks also announced an expanded partnership with Anthropic as well as the acquisition of Antimatter and SiftD.ai.

Ecolab Expands AI Data Center Cooling Business Through Acquisition of CoolIT
Ecolab has agreed to acquire CoolIT Systems, a liquid cooling company for AI data centers, for approximately $4.75 billion. The transaction is expected to close by Q3 2026, subject to regulatory approvals. CoolIT has been supplying direct-to-chip cooling-based coolant distribution units, cold plates, and manifolds, serving hyperscale data centers and colocation operators as customers. This acquisition is a measure to address the high-heat and high-density server environments created by AI proliferation. Ecolab plans to combine its water management and digital monitoring capabilities with CoolIT's hardware technology to expand its data center cooling business.

한국전자통신연구원(ETRI)이 멀티모달 AI가 새 지식을 학습하는 과정에서 기존 정보를 잃어버리는 ‘치명적 망각’ 문제를 줄이는 기술을 개발했다. 이 기술은 이미지와 텍스트 정보를 분리해 저장한 뒤 필요할 때만 연결하는 방식으로, 기존 모델의 지식 손상을 줄이면서 복합 질문에 대한 응답 정확도를 높이는 데 초점을 맞췄다. 연구 결과는 인공지능 학술대회 NeurIPS 2025에 채택됐으며, 정책·법령, 제품 정보, 산업 데이터처럼 지속적인 업데이트가 필요한 분야에 활용 가능성이 제시됐다.
