On this day, ATEN introduced various Video Matrix (VM) switches and their features, including the VM5808H, VM5404H , and VM6404H. Also introduced were the VM1600, an innovative modular matrix switch capable of transmitting up to 16 video sources to up to 16 displays , as well as products such as HDMI cables and HDMI extenders . The VM160 is a cutting-edge product that has been a hot topic in the domestic industry even before its release , thanks to its innovative modular design that allows for flexible response ranging from maintenance such as replacing a single fan to the expansion of functions .
Industry insiders also showed great interest in how video walls and digital signage systems switched instantly through ATEN's Seamless Engine, which features a built-in proprietary scaler . In addition , a demonstration of ATEN’s Red Dot Award-winning video wall controller was held , and various cases were introduced showing how different devices can be combined in various environments to create synergy .
The highlight of the seminar that day was a demonstration of a conference room environment combining ATEN's modular matrix switch VM1600 and the latest control system VK2100 . The VK2100 control system, which allows for convenient control of not only existing ATEN VanCryst pro A/V products but also peripheral hardware such as various A/V devices, lighting, air conditioners, and power switches, and enables easy creation of user profiles, was combined with a video matrix switch. When the demonstrator lightly touched the iPad screen, the lights automatically turned off, the projector turned on , and the screen lowered, automatically preparing for the meeting .
An official from ATEN Korea stated, “Recently, the trend for digital signage and video walls is to build more economical systems with fewer devices and lower costs. However , due to rapid technological advancements, there is a tendency for industry professionals to not actively utilize integrated solutions that offer various functions, even though such solutions have been released . ” He also assessed , “This seminar was a valuable opportunity to introduce industry stakeholders to where current technology stands and how to build more efficient and economical systems using it . ”
