Sennheiser HD 630VB, the first closed-back headphones for audiophiles

Sennheiser ( www.sennheiser.com ) has launched the HD 630VB, its first closed-back headphones for audiophiles.

Featuring circular ear cups that cover the ears, the HD 630VB produces a rich, balanced sound that will satisfy audiophiles, allowing you to focus on your music without worrying about your surroundings, whether indoors or on the go. Furthermore, the rotary bass dial allows users to optimize the bass sound to their liking.

Added bass boost optimization for audiophiles

The HD 630VB is a closed-back type that blocks out ambient noise while simultaneously providing the excellent sound that can be experienced from conventional open-back premium headphones. It features a particularly rich sense of space, allowing users to enjoy sound free from surrounding distractions.

High-performance transducer, no sound distortion

Sennheiser's high-performance transducers, specially developed for the HD 630VB, are the core component of this product. The new transducers deliver a detailed and deep bass experience, and users can adjust the rotary bass dial to optimize the sound according to their personal taste. With a harmonic distortion rate of 0.08% (based on 1kHz, 100dB), the sound is almost distortion-free, and thanks to the coil wire made of 100% aluminum, it has precise sound source reproduction capabilities, and not only excellent high-frequency reproduction, but also detailed sound in the mid-range such as voices and instruments.

With a low impedance of 23 Ω, it easily drives portable music players, making it an ideal companion for mobile devices. With a frequency response of 10-42,000 Hz, it's also suitable for high-resolution audio file playback. The ear cups, headband, and slider are made of lightweight aluminum, and the design is foldable for easy portability.

The HD 630VB is Sennheiser's first product in its premium audiophile range to offer headset control, and is compatible with Android and iOS smartphones and tablets. A list of high-performance audio players compatible with the HD 630VB can be found on the Sennheiser website.

"The ear pads are made of durable materials for exceptional durability," said Axel Grell, adding that the ear pads are also easily replaceable. A remote control mounted on the right ear cup and a microphone built into the high-quality OFC cable allow users to conveniently listen to music or take calls from their smartphone.

The adjustable headband and soft ear pads ensure comfort even during extended wear. Axel Grell described the product as "a product that combines minimalist, modern design with exceptional sound performance." The HD 630VB is available at official online and offline retailers, including the Sennheiser Music Cafe, Sennheiser Gyodae branch, and Shinsegae Department Store Gyeonggi branch. The retail price is 699,000 won, and a two-year international warranty is included.
