Bridgelux Launches New LED Array Product That Provides Twice the Lighting Output of Existing LED Products

Provides an output array of 3500-8000 lumens

- Bridgelux Inc., a global developer of LED lighting technology and solutions, announced that it has expanded its award-winning RS LED Array product line with industry-leading performance LEDs for extremely high lumen applications such as retail lighting, high-bay, street lighting, outdoor interior and industrial lighting.

Breaking the industry standard for light output performance, the new RS array products can further improve the efficacy (the effectiveness of a light source in converting power to illuminance, measured in lumens per watt) of solid-state lighting (SSL) and reduce its cost. They also offer an operating range of 3,500-8,000 lumens, an extended color temperature range of 2,700K-5,600K (including warm, neutral, and cool white), and multiple CRI (color rendering indices) options, expanding the range of choices for high-quality lighting. These LED arrays enable simple and rapid development of new high-lumen LED products, which is expected to accelerate the replacement of high-wattage HID lighting with the advantages of safe operation and a short payback period of about two years. In addition, these high-flux density sources are expected to open a new chapter in the solid-state lighting industry by enabling precision lighting that was not possible with existing low-power solid-state lighting technologies.
