Sarotech Launches Unstoppable, Rugged Military External Hard Drive

The biggest feature of the 'FHD-1127U3-6G' is its safety. This product supports IP65-rated water and dust resistance and has passed all shock, vibration, and thermal tests conducted according to the U.S. Department of Defense military standard (MIL-STD-810G).
Sarotech stated that the 'FHD-1127U3-6G' features a safe design that provides double protection from the inside and outside. The soft silicone inner and sturdy ABS resin body provide primary shock, water, dust, and moisture resistance, while specially designed screws completely seal the interior to prevent dust or water from entering.
In addition, it is designed with a double structure in which a silicone jacket wraps around the product to safely protect it from impact, further protecting the data.
In addition, a protective cap is attached to prevent damage to the USB connector when not in use, preventing foreign substances such as dust or water droplets from entering the interior.

The 'FHD-1127U3-6G' supports high-speed interfaces such as USB 3.0, UASP, and SATA3 6Gb/s, delivering faster speeds and performance, and has excellent OS compatibility, supporting the latest OSs including Windows 10, 8, and 7, as well as Apple's Mac OS X 10.10 El Capitan.
A Newrotech official stated, “External hard drives always carry the risk of damage from dropping, water, dust, or heat.” "The newly released 'FHD-1127U3-6G' features IP65-rated water and dust resistance and has passed the 'MIL-STD-810G' test, the U.S. Army's military equipment standard, demonstrating strong durability against shock, moisture, and heat, allowing for safe use even in harsh environments," they explained.
The 'FHD-1127U3-6G' will be released in two versions: HDD and SSD. The HDD comes in two capacities, 1TB and 2TB, while the SSD is available in four capacities: 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB, with plans to release up to 4TB later.
