LG Electronics announced that it has launched a new global premium TV, the 'Super Ultra HD TV', with even clearer picture quality.

LG Electronics announced that its new 'Super Ultra HD TV', which ranges from 65 inches to 98 inches, has a clearer screen by applying HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology, and that it has set a new standard for Ultra HD TVs by incorporating values that customers want, such as more advanced sound and a slimmer design.

The new IPS panel reduces light reflection by up to 50% compared to existing products, allowing for clearer images. The HDR Plus feature brightens the bright areas of the screen and darkens the dark areas. LG Electronics explains that by emphasizing the bright and dark areas, the three-dimensional effect is deepened and detailed expression is possible, enhancing realism. Furthermore, it explains that even general content, not just HDR-specific content, is displayed more clearly.

The new 'Super Ultra HD TV' can express over 1 billion colors and has improved color reproducibility, providing a richer and more natural screen.

This product also features sound that complements its high-definition images. LG Electronics has partnered with Harman Kardon, a global audio specialist, to deliver rich, deep sound quality. The Magic Sound Tuning feature optimizes the sound quality for the space where you watch TV. The signal sent through the TV speaker resonates throughout the room and then enters the Magic Remote's microphone, where it analyzes the sound waves and optimizes the sound quality.


Thin bezels and a product thickness of 6mm for enhanced immersion

The "Super Ultra HD TV" offers a heightened sense of immersion. Its cinematic screen design with a thin bezel maximizes immersion. Furthermore, the product's thickness has been dramatically reduced, measuring just 6.6mm at its thinnest point.

LG Electronics plans to unveil its new "Super Ultra HD TV" products at CES 2016, held in Las Vegas from the 6th to the 9th. A new product featuring 8K resolution on a 98-inch ultra-large screen will also be unveiled.
