New ThinkPad Series and TIO Desktop Unveiled

Lenovo is showcasing the ThinkPad series, a business PC product lineup that has defined the Lenovo brand, in addition to the ThinkPad X1 product family at this year's CES.

Products Continuing the ThinkPad Legacy

Since the announcement of the ThinkPad T20 in May 2000, the ThinkPad T series, used as a work notebook by many enterprises, has become lighter and thinner while maintaining the ThinkPad design. The newly launched ThinkPad T460/T560 models offer various screen resolutions, storage and memory configurations, and exceptional battery life. The ThinkPad T460s delivers the same performance and durability despite being thinner and lighter. This 14-inch notebook, measuring just 18.8mm in thickness and weighing less than 1.36kg, has the performance to handle complex tasks outside the office. Consequently, it is both lightweight and durable. Users who leverage PCs flexibly will prefer the ThinkPad T460p. It features a WQHD IPS display, discrete graphics, up to 32GB DDR4 memory, and Intel 6th-generation H-series quad-core processors.

ThinkPad X260, 21 Hours of Use with Optional Battery

The ThinkPad X260 is a lightweight 12-inch ultrabook that supports revolutionary battery life. With an optional battery, the X260 can run for more than 21 hours. The latest ThinkPad L460 and L560 offer durability that meets military specifications (Mil-Spec) and ThinkPad reliability, providing excellent value for money.

Educational institutions also need notebooks that balance mobility and productivity for students and educators. The ThinkPad 13, available with Windows or Chrome OS, is a notebook characterized by outstanding flexibility and includes multiple I/O options including USB Type-C ports, with the Windows model equipped with SSD storage and up to 16GB memory. This is the first ThinkPad product to support Chrome OS for Business.

ThinkPad Stack Charging Station is an Integrated Wireless Solution

The compatible ThinkPad Stack system achieved great success at last year's CES. This year, with new options added, its scope has expanded further. The new ThinkPad Stack Mobile Projector is a standalone 150-lumen 720p projector that includes a rechargeable battery and speaker. Since it includes built-in wireless functionality and Miracast, it can project wirelessly. The ThinkPad Stack Charging Station is an integrated wireless solution and the first technology that can provide both data and power to smartphones. With this solution, you can back up and charge your smartphone using a wireless charging pad and wireless dongle without needing to manage cables or multiple connection lines.

Office environments also need displays. From an ergonomic perspective and to minimize eye strain, external displays are essential in offices or home offices. The latest ThinkVision X24 Pro represents an improvement over last year's design. Featuring integrated Intel RealSense 3D camera and multiple ports such as USB Type-C, the X24 Pro enhances all desk-based solutions. Additionally, it provides a WiGig Bar for wireless connectivity needed to properly set up notebooks or desktops, and a Wireless Charging Stand for charging compatible mobile phones.

Lenovo Does Not Believe in the Decline of Desktop PCs

Lenovo redefined the category of business desktops with the announcement of the ultra-compact desktop ThinkCentre Tiny, and has since advanced one step further with the ThinkCentre-in-One (TIO). TIO provides an intelligent display with the ThinkCentre Tiny mounted on an integrated rear mount, in an all-in-one design form while maintaining the flexibility of individual desktop and display options. This innovative approach has gained very high popularity.

At CES, Lenovo will announce the second-generation TIO 22 and TIO 24. With more refined design and glare-free display, the TIO is available in 21.5-inch and 23.8-inch configurations and also offers a touchscreen option. Additionally, installation is very easy as you simply slide the ThinkCentre Tiny into the rear mount and it operates immediately with no manual connections or auxiliary power required.

Beyond the Think brand products, Lenovo showcased products offering excellent design and top-notch functionality. The YOGA 900 Business Edition and MIIX 700 Business Edition are ideal for BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) environments where employees use their personal devices at work, or CYOD (Choose Your Own Device) environments where companies provide personal devices.

The YOGA 900 Business Edition features a watch-band hinge and multi-mode functionality, weighing only 1.27kg and measuring just 14.4mm in thickness, incorporating all design elements identical to consumer products. It also includes enterprise security features such as the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) chip preferred by IT departments, and long-term warranty options.

The MIIX 700 Business Edition is a notebook offering enterprise performance in a 2-in-1 form factor. Weighing 1.1kg, it features a 12-inch (2160x1440) Gorilla Glass tablet display with 400-nit brightness and includes an Intel RealSense R200 3D camera.
