Winner of the 'Best Product Award' in the TV category at the CES Official Awards
LG Electronics’ premium home appliance brand ‘LG SIGNATURE,’ unveiled at ‘CES 2016,’ swept the major awards.
LG announced that its 'LG SIGNATURE OLED TV' (model name: G6) received the 'Best of CES category Best TV Product' award from Engadget, the official awards partner of CES. LG Electronics' OLED TV has earned the honor of receiving this award in this category for two consecutive years, following last year, with Engadget highly praising its outstanding HDR picture quality and sophisticated design. Engadget awards the Best of CES products across 14 categories.
Reviewed.com, a review media outlet affiliated with USA Today, the largest daily newspaper in the United States, selected the LG SIGNATURE OLED TV for the Editors' Choice Award. Reviewed.com praised it, saying, “OLED technology and outstanding design are breathtaking.”
'LG Signature Refrigerator' Receives Favorable Reviews from Media
Wired also awarded the 'LG SIGNATURE OLED TV' the 'Best Product Award'. Wired gave it high praise, stating, "The product is impossibly thin, and the picture quality is outstanding." The LG SIGNATURE OLED TV received a total of 17 awards from leading media outlets, including ubergizmo, HD Guru, and Techlicious.
LG Electronics stated that the 'LG SIGNATURE OLED TV' achieves perfect black to maximize HDR (High Dynamic Range) that transcends standards and genres, and features transparent tempered glass behind a thin 2.57mm OLED panel.
The 'LG Signature Refrigerator' was also selected as an 'Editor's Choice' by Reviewed.com. In addition, Techradar and the Daily Telegraph awarded this refrigerator the Best Product Award. With this product, you can view the contents of the refrigerator by knocking on the new concept storage space called 'Magic Space,' and the door opens automatically when you approach it.
In addition to this, the 'Super Ultra HD TV' featuring 8K resolution on a 98-inch ultra-large screen, the 'Ultra PC' laptop with 4K resolution, and the 'Code Zero Cyking' cordless vacuum cleaner with enhanced suction power using a second-generation smart inverter motor were recognized for their technological prowess and innovation by winning CES awards.
LG Electronics achieved a remarkable feat at 'CES 2016' by winning a total of about 50 awards, including the CES Innovation Award.
LG Electronics President and Chief Technology Officer Ahn Seung-kwon stated, “This signifies recognition of 'LG Signature's' innovative technology and design,” adding, “We will lead the global home appliance market with ultra-premium products that provide a better life for our customers.”
