Final selection on the 13th with the highest score in technical evaluation (80%) and price evaluation (20%)

LG Uplus announced that it has been selected as the preferred bidder for the 'Wando-gun LED security light improvement project', which had garnered attention through a specialized agency consignment bid.

This 'Wando-gun LED Security Light Improvement Project' was promoted by Wando-gun entrusting it to the Korea Mining Industry Promotion Association, a specialized organization.

This is the first time in Gwangju and South Jeolla Province that a specialized agency has been entrusted, and four companies participated. As a result of the technical evaluation (80%) and price evaluation (20%), LG U+ was finally selected as the preferred negotiating partner on the 13th.

LG U+ plans to sign this contract in the future to completely replace 5,512 existing old security lights in 12 townships and townships in Wando County with high-efficiency LED lights and provide real-time information on power usage and savings, as well as breakdowns, at major security light installation locations through LTE-based smart metering.

Upon completion of this project, Wando County is expected to reduce its existing power consumption by approximately 72%, saving over 500 million won annually and significantly reducing maintenance costs.
