SH Trading Launches SSD with Enhanced Product Features

Equipped with higher stability through controller replacement
SH Trading, a company specializing in computer peripherals and storage, announced on the 26th that it is launching the 'ADATA Premier Pro New SP920' Solid State Drive (SSD), which features enhanced product competitiveness by incorporating a new controller and adding a generous five-year support period. ADATA is a global company famous for memory, SSDs, and more.
The ADATA Premier Pro New SP920, featuring improved product quality, has been released in four variants ranging from 128GB to 1TB to expand consumer choices in consideration of market conditions. Performance is rated at up to 560MB/s for reading and up to 460MB/s for writing. It delivers both performance and stability by incorporating superior NAND Flash Memory based on Multi-Level Cell (MLC).
The controllers are Marvell's 88SS9188 (128GB/256GB) and 88SS9187 (512GB/1TB). Marvell controllers are highly preferred by SSD users because they are known for maintaining high stability and excellent performance even after prolonged use.
In particular, a notable feature is that the warranty period for all products in the lineup has been significantly strengthened to 5 years. Given that SSD lifespan issues have recently been raised among users and user inconvenience is growing due to the unexpected failure of 1st and 2nd generation SSDs, the bold extension of the warranty period to 5 years is expected to be welcomed by consumers.
Shin Bong-jin, Manager of SSD Marketing at SH Trading, explained the rationale, stating, “ADATA has been with consumers since the beginning of the SSD market. We have extended the warranty period so that consumers, who have shown us their long-standing trust, can use our products with greater peace of mind.” He further expressed his expectations, saying, “While the new ADATA Premier Pro New SP920 may not show a significant change in visible performance, it is a model featuring a reinforced controller and significantly improved internal algorithms for more stable operation. We believe it will provide sufficient satisfaction to consumers seeking powerful performance and long-lasting durability.”
