Held in Dallas, Texas, USA for three days from February 1st under the theme of “Experience Design”

Dassault Systèmes (www.3ds.com), a global leader in 3D solutions, successfully held the 18th 'SOLIDWORKS World 2016' in Dallas, Texas, USA on the 2nd (1st US time).

SolidWorks World 2016, attended by over 8,000 engineers and industrial designers worldwide, is an annual event where you can experience the latest SolidWorks technology. SolidWorks is Dassault Systèmes' design brand that contributes to the innovation of design processes for over 5 million users worldwide.

SOLIDWORKS World 2016 introduces the latest design technologies for the 'Age of Experience,' where the importance of social interaction and collaboration is being emphasized. Keynote speakers include Yves Béhar, named the world's most influential industrial designer by Time magazine in 2015; Neil Gershenfeld, Director of the Bits & Atoms Center at MIT; and David Pogue, founder of Yahoo Tech. Additionally, 3D CAD, mechanical design, and engineering training sessions are prepared for the SOLIDWORKS user community. At the '2016 Partner Pavilion,' over 130 partner companies will showcase new products and technologies.

In particular, Sindoricoh, Korea's leading 3D printer company, will announce a 3D printing specialized solution developed through a strategic partnership with SolidWorks. Sindoricoh recently joined the SolidWorks Partner Program and developed a free software application called the "SOLIDWORKS add-in" that allows users to directly install, transfer, and monitor Sindoricoh's 3D printer, "3Dwox," within the SolidWorks CAD environment.
