Cisco Korea announced that TOZ (CEO Kim Yun-hwan, www.toz.co.kr), Korea's first space service group, has adopted the cloud-based Cisco Meraki network solution, enabling it to build a smart IT environment while simultaneously providing customers with a more convenient wireless internet environment.

As Toz's business grew rapidly, the company determined that a stable network environment was a critical factor in customer satisfaction. However, it was inefficient to deploy IT personnel to every center individually to manage the network environment. Accordingly, Toz introduced the Cisco Meraki solution to approximately 50 centers starting in the second half of last year and plans to expand its adoption to up to 200 locations by the end of the year.

With Meraki, real-time monitoring of the entire center and mobile device management (MDM) are possible.

Cisco Meraki network solutions provide comprehensive support for the management and control of customers' wireless access points (APs), security appliances, and access switches from a centralized cloud. By monitoring equipment across all TOZ centers in real time through a single web-based management window called the 'Cloud Dashboard,' administrators can easily and conveniently configure and control network traffic.

Convenient mobile device management (MDM) features are also provided. Through this feature, administrators can easily locate devices such as laptops, tablets, and smartphones, and configure security functions to manage IT assets efficiently and consistently. In addition, software upgrades, various applications and user-specific implementations, automatic monitoring and notifications, and 24-hour technical support are also provided.
