LG Uplus announced on the 7th that it will launch Samsung's 'Galaxy A3 (SM-A310N)', an A-series smartphone following the A5 and A7, on the 8th.
The Galaxy A3 is the smallest smartphone compared to the previously released A5 and A7. With a slim thickness of 7.3mm, it boasts a comfortable grip that fits perfectly in one hand. In addition, its lightweight design of 132g and the use of metal and tempered glass materials make it particularly suitable for women and teenagers.
The Galaxy A3 is small in size, but its performance does not lag behind other smartphones. It features a 4.7-inch HD screen and a Super AMOLED display for a vivid picture quality, and is equipped with a 1.5GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop).
The camera is also equipped with a high-definition 13-megapixel rear camera, identical to the existing A5 and A7. The A3's camera features include 'Quick Camera,' which is launched quickly by double-tapping the home button from any screen, and 'Beauty Mode,' which allows you to take selfies by adjusting skin tone, face shape, and eye size in steps.
The retail price of the Galaxy A3 is 352,000 won, and official subsidies by rate plan can be checked on the LG Uplus website on the 8th. It will be released in three colors: Black, White, and Pink Gold.
