LG Electronics is raising expectations by launching a new immersive 21:9 aspect ratio monitor.

Following the start of pre-orders for the 34-inch LG Curved UltraWide Monitor (34UC98) on the 7th, LG Electronics plans to release two flat LG UltraWide monitors—a 34-inch and a 29-inch model—early next year. With this, LG Electronics now offers a total of 10 models of 21:9 aspect ratio monitors, expanding the range of choices for consumers.

The 34-inch LG Curved Ultrawide Monitor features the world's largest curvature (1900R) among curved monitors released to date. The curved design brings the left and right edges of the screen closer to the user's eyes, providing an excellent sense of immersion.

According to market research firm IDC, LG Electronics has held the number one market share in the global 21:9 aspect ratio monitor market for 11 consecutive quarters through the third quarter of this year, based on both sales volume and revenue.
