Asia-Pacific Partner Summit Held in Vietnam
Selection of partners who exceeded sales and revenue plans

Gemalto held its Asia Pacific Partner Summit in Hanoi, Vietnam, on March 16. This annual event features an awards ceremony for channel partners who have taken the lead in protecting customer data and achieved high performance across various sectors. At this year's event, Adost, a Korean partner, received the Solution Partner of the Year award.

Rana Gupta, Vice President of Gemalto Asia Pacific, said, “Channel partners in the Asia Pacific region protect the sensitive information of over thousands of enterprise customers,” adding, “Gemalto’s partners have helped customers establish security strategies to counter rapidly changing data threats with industry-leading encryption and identity protection solutions.”

Gemalto selects outstanding partners in five categories. This year's winners are as follows.

Rising Star of the Year: Japan's TIS and Hong Kong's TSS (Telecommunications & Security Systems) received the Rising Star Award, given to the partner with the largest increase in sales.

Marketing Excellence Award: PT. Transition Systems of Indonesia received the Marketing Excellence Award, which is given to partners with outstanding performance in identifying new sales opportunities. Meanwhile, PT Transition Systems conducted a series of training sessions on Gemalto products for its engineers to cultivate experts with a deep understanding of Gemalto.

Solution Partner of the Year: Adost Korea received the Solution Partner of the Year award, which is given to partners who exceed their sales and revenue targets.

Cipher Partner of the Year: Singapore's Nera Telecommunications has been a Gemalto partner for 15 years, collaborating with major system integrators and closing the most deals among local partners. In addition, the company actively engaged in engineer training. In recognition of these achievements, it received the Cipher Partner of the Year award.

Top Contributor of the Year: India's Transition Systems, a partner with a strong presence in the banking and financial services industry, received the Top Contributor of the Year award for achieving the highest revenue in the Asia-Pacific region in 2015.
