Huawei Announces TalkBand B3 Wearable

Huawei (www.huawei.com/kr) unveiled the Huawei P9 and Huawei P9 Plus, new models in its strategic smartphone P series that are the world's first to feature a Leica dual camera, through collaboration with German luxury camera manufacturer Leica Camera AG in London on the 6th (local time).

The P9 is equipped with a smartphone shooting system that integrates Huawei and Leica's advanced technologies and camera design values, providing a top-of-the-line hardware and software photography experience, including optical lenses, sensors, and image processing techniques.

The dual camera design maximizes the optical technology of Leica cameras, recognized for their precise and detailed expressions and rigorous quality verification, and is equipped with an RGB camera optimized for accurate color expression and a black and white camera that provides excellent detail.
It also provides a rich level of detail expression, depth, and color with the rear dual camera, and secures more light to provide powerful low-light shooting capabilities. A total of three Leica film modes and a black-and-white mode produce diverse effects. Hybrid Focus technology ensures fast, accurate shooting and stability.

In particular, it automatically selects the most suitable setting for the shooting situation among the three focus adjustment technologies of △laser △depth control and △contrast, providing the best shooting results anytime, anywhere. The wide-aperture function easily adjusts the aperture value, and implements various depth-of-field effects through bokeh (bokeh effect) and focal length adjustment, while maintaining a clear focus on the subject.

P9 inherits the minimalist design of the P series

The P9, which inherits the minimalist design of Huawei's P series, features a sensuous design and the latest high-end chipset, the 'Kirin 955'.It has all the performance befitting a new flagship smartphone.


Huawei also introduced the P9 Plus, a 5.5-inch display model. Equipped with a Press Touch function that can recognize force, the P9 Plus is equipped with a 3,400mAh battery capacity and provides up to 6 hours of talk time with a 10-minute charge through dual IC Rapid Charge technology.

The P9 and P9 Plus feature a virtual triple-antenna design to provide strong, uninterrupted connectivity on cellular and Wi-Fi networks. The fingerprint sensor, featuring Huawei’s enhanced biometric fingerprint recognition technology, further protects user security information and significantly reduces the risk of accidental device access and fraud, providing a faster and safer user experience.

The P9 smartphone is scheduled to be released on April 16th, mainly in Europe and the Middle East, and will be priced at 599 euros for the 32GB P9 and 649 euros for the 64GB P9.

Meanwhile, on the same day, Huawei unveiled the Huawei TalkBand B3 wearable, the third-generation Huawei TalkBand product.
