Axis Communications (www.axis.com, CEO Ray Mauritsson) announced that Flower Fragrance Care Facility, located in the Dongbaek area of Gyeonggi Province, has adopted Axis network cameras for both internal and external security.

Flower Fragrance Care Facility, which opened in March 2016, decided to introduce a video security system supporting high-quality video and network-based video transmission to effectively monitor its approximately 1,000-pyeong-sized premises and provide an environment where facility residents can live with peace of mind.



Due to the nature of a care facility, families and acquaintances frequently visit for resident visitations, and continuous monitoring was necessary because residents suffering from age-related diseases such as dementia, stroke, and cerebrovascular disease may exhibit symptoms at any unpredictable time.

Additionally, for security purposes, there was a need to monitor the entry and exit status of external visitors in real-time, and because IT administrative personnel were limited, the facility prioritized convenience in management.

To address these issues, Flower Fragrance Care Facility installed Axis Communications' AXIS M3004-V, AXIS M3025-VE, and AXIS P1405-LE respectively in the facility's interior, entrance, and exterior building wall to establish a video security solution.

Through the Corridor Format function supported by AXIS M3004-V and AXIS M3025-VE, monitoring without blind spots is possible even in narrow passages and hallways, enabling control and surveillance of external visitor access, and by monitoring the facility interior in real-time, stable and rapid elderly welfare services can be provided.

The AXIS M3025-VE, which achieved IP66 and NEMA 4X rating (dust and water resistance) and IK10 rating (impact resistance) suitable for outdoor installation, was installed at the entrance, and the AXIS P1405-LE installed for surveillance of the facility surroundings and exterior areas is equipped with built-in IR, providing excellent image quality even in dark environments, enabling real-time monitoring of the facility surroundings even at night.
