Yeongil Education System Presents 3D Printer Customer Case Study

(CEO Park Young-jong, hereinafter Youngil Education) exhibited the Makerbot 3D printer at the 17th Seoul International Manufacturing Technology Exhibition (SIMTOS 2016) and presented as the final speaker at the SIMTOS CAD/CAM, 3D Printing & Scanning Conference, which was held as a side event of SIMTOS 2016.
Youngil Education, the official distributor for MakerBot, presented a case study of a Korean MakerBot customer at the SIMTOS CAD/CAM, 3D Printing & Scanning Conference. This marks the first time a domestic case study using a MakerBot 3D printer has been presented in an official setting.
During the presentation, Yeongil Education shared case studies of clients from various fields, including the construction, education, fashion, and figure manufacturing industries. They also revealed the know-how, purchasing purposes, and reasons behind the clients' purchases, which were acquired through hands-on fieldwork. In addition, it presented the direction the 3D printer field should take, receiving a great response from the participants.
Kang Byeong-mun, a manager at Yeongil Education who gave the presentation, said, “Through 3D printers, customers can perform intricate and detailed work that was previously impossible, and above all, reduce opportunity costs and time.”
At SIMTOS 2016, Yeongil Education not only gave a conference presentation but also exhibited the MakerBot 3D printer, which boasts the world's first 100,000 units sold, and printed objects produced using it.
