Oracle Korea and Seoul National University of Education signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for mutual cooperation to foster software talent and strengthen teachers' capabilities.

Through this agreement, Oracle Korea plans to collaborate with Seoul National University of Education starting this June to develop software education curricula suitable for elementary, middle, and high school students through the 'Oracle Academy Initiative' and support teachers in completing the courses.
The plan is to carry out industry-academia collaboration work to strengthen teachers' capabilities through this, ultimately enabling active software education to take place in relevant schools.



Kim Kyung-sung, President of Seoul National University of Education, stated, “The demand for software talent capable of not only responding well to the upcoming era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution but also leading the world is increasing significantly across all industries and sectors. In this era, producing customized talent for a software-centric society is a major duty of our university.” He added, “In particular, by operating a systematic industry-academia cooperation program with Oracle, which is considered a leader in the database field, we will cultivate excellent human resources required by the information age and serve as a hub for youth employment.”
