Ampleon Announces New Wireless Communication Technology at International Symposium
Published2016.04.27 14:58Ampleon announced that it will participate in the IEEE MTT International Microwave Symposium (IMS), to be held in San Francisco, USA from May 22 to 27, and showcase its latest technology.
Ampleon, which plans to unveil various technologies such as power amplifier (PA) solutions for high-speed wireless communication, Doherty amplifiers for digital broadcast transmission, and pallets for S-band radar, will also introduce products in thermally optimized packages targeting the industrial and medical markets.
At this event, Ampleon will also introduce the recently announced Solid State RF Energy Oven (next-generation microwave) developed in collaboration with partners, as well as a plasma lighting module for promoting horticultural plant growth.
Ampleon plans to present a total of six papers at this conference. The topics of the papers include GaN dual-input Doherty-Outphasing power amplifiers, Odd-mode Doherty, and high-power Solid-state Power Amplifier (SSPA) technologies, and a workshop on 5G communication system hardware design will also be held.

LG이노텍(대표 박종석)은 유선 충전기와 동일한 양의 전력을 공급할 수 있는 15와트(W) 무선충전 송신모듈을 개발했다고 밝혔다. 무선충전 장치는 송신부와 수신부로 구성된다. 송신부는 충전패드나 거치대 등의 형태로 스마트폰에 전력을 공급한다. 수신부는 스마트폰에 내장되어 송신부와 반응으로 유도전류를 발생시켜 충전한다.
