Wind River announced that its platform will be applied to 'Helionix,' a new integrated modular avionics (IMA) system launched by Airbus Helicopters.

The VxWorks 653 platform applied to Heionics supports multi-function displays, flight management and control systems, and autopilot functions for new aircraft. It also provides resource management and partitioning capabilities to enable the execution of multiple independent applications with different critical safety levels on a single target platform.



“As already proven through various IMA systems, Wind River’s safety-critical technology provides the reliability, flexibility, and configurability essential for implementing products that require strict safety standards. "Wind River also provided end-to-end expertise tailored to each development cycle, from system design to certification procedures, enabling the smooth completion of the entire development," he said.
