Bang & Olufsen launches new colors for its flagship speaker and earphones.
Published2016.05.02 13:50Home entertainment brand Bang & Olufsen (B&O) announced the launch of the 'S/S 2016 Collection', which features two of its representative 'B&O PLAY' products in new colors, and the 'BeoPlay H3 2nd generation' earphones.
The S/S 2016 collection includes the portable Bluetooth speaker 'BeoPlay A2' and the headphones 'Beoplay H6'. First, the speaker Beoplay A2 comes in Champaign Grey and Ocean Blue, and the headphone Beoplay H6 comes in Champagne Grey.
With this, Beoplay A2 is available in four colors: Natural, Black, Champagne Gray, and Ocean Blue, while Beoplay H6 is available in three colors: Black, Natural, and Champagne Gray.
The Beoplay A2 is Bang & Olufsen's first Bluetooth speaker, featuring driver units mounted on both sides, delivering two-channel full stereo sound regardless of the user's position around the speaker. The Beoplay H6 boasts a balanced bass and treble, delivering a clear midrange and a sophisticated design.
In addition, the company also released the "Beoplay H3 2nd Generation," the next-generation model of the premium in-ear earphones "Beoplay H3." While the basic specifications are the same as the previous model, the colors have been changed to three: natural, black, and champagne.
The Beoplay H3 2nd generation delivers rich sound through 10.8mm drivers and ultra-small bass units.

Toshiba Corporation's Storage & Electronic Devices Solutions Company announced on the 28th the launch of "TCB501HQ," a 4-channel power amplifier IC. This new IC features a built-in full-time offset detection circuit that detects speaker output offset voltage, which is a cause of speaker fires. It detects output DC offset voltage generated by leakage from input capacitors and other sources during sound playback, preventing speaker fires. The new IC employs a current feedback system of the type adopted in high-end hi-fi audio. This prevents audio quality degradation across a wide bandwidth and ensures stable sound quality.
