Ainex, Colonoscopy AI Software Obtains TÜV SÜD CE MDR Certification
Ainex, a domestic gastrointestinal endoscopy AI specialist company, has become the first in Korea to obtain European Medical Device Regulation (CE MDR) certification for its 'ENAD CADx' AI software. This AI software, which passed conformity assessment by TÜV SÜD, assists clinicians in diagnosis by classifying lesions detected during colonoscopy examinations in real time. This certification enables market entry across the EU, and following passage of the MFDS innovative medical device integrated review in September 2025, Ainex has secured a leading position in Korea's endoscopy AI field.

GitHub unveils AI agent-based software development platform vision
GitHub has unveiled its vision for an AI agent-based software development platform. At GitHub Universe 2026, the company announced new features including Copilot Fusion, which combines multiple models, Copilot Code Review Max, which supports in-depth code review, and Copilot Projects, which manages multi-repository tasks. The company is also significantly expanding its infrastructure to build a cloud-based agent development environment.

Dr. Park Sung-ik from ETRI Selected as Emmy Innovator Honoree for U.S. Technology and Engineering Excellence
Dr. Park Sung-ik, Principal Researcher at the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), has been selected as an "Emmy Innovator Honoree" in recognition of his development of core transmission technologies for the next-generation terrestrial broadcasting standard ATSC 3.0 and contributions to international standardization. ETRI has contributed to the ATSC 3.0 standard by leading the development of physical layer technologies including Layered Division Multiplexing (LDM), Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO), and Transmitter Identification (TxID), and the developed technologies have also been adopted in Brazil's DTV+ (TV 3.0) standard.
