Developed jointly by Mouser Innovation Lab and Mythbuster's Grant Imahara

Mouser Electronics (www.mouser.com) has partnered with film studio Marvel to unveil Project Hero Series, designed to educate and entertain future engineers and fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Marvel and Mouser bring the superhero technologies from "Captain America: Civil War" to life through a new video series as part of Mouser's Empowering Innovation Together™ program. Grant Imahara, former host of the popular U.S. show "Mythbusters," and viral video star Allen Pan create walking versions of Captain America's shield and Iron Man's famous long gloves in the video.

This video series explains the entire process from concept to final demonstration, showing tech enthusiasts real-world versions of superhero technologies using the latest components from Molex and Analog Devices.


Imahara, who participated in this work, said, "We were asked to spend time freely at the new Mouser Innovation Lab and make the superhero equipment actually work." "This is a dream task for all engineers," he said.

While Grant focused on creating Iron Man's long armor equipped with lasers, Allen developed Captain America's shield using drone technology that is controlled to fly back to the arm.
