Supplying HE910 Communication Modules to 'DW-100'

Telit (CEO Derek Sang) announced that it has supplied its HE910 communication module to the 'DW-100', a device supporting the DeviceWise platform developed by Axstone (www.axstone.com), a domestic IoT module and communication solution development company.

Extone is a Korean company that has developed various wired and wireless communication systems, including CDMA and WCDMA systems and terminals. It develops and supplies IoT gateways and solutions, Smart Jammers supporting CDMA/GSM/WCDMA, and wireless network quality analysis and optimization solutions, and possesses proprietary IoT-based remote management solution (Mobile-NMS®) technology. In particular, the company has recently garnered attention for developing and supplying communication devices for personal users, home platforms for the elderly implemented with sensor network technology, and location tracking systems for special missions to domestic and international agencies and military units.

Earlier this year, Telit selected a company that provides specialized IoT services and recruited Exton to the Telit Competence Center (Technology Partner) to support efficient product design, development, and integration, and is supporting technology and product development related to Telit’s IoT platform, deviceWISE.

Extone's 'DW-100' is equipped with Telit's communication modules such as GSM, GPRS, CDMA, WCDMA, and LTE, supporting wireless M2M functions and Telit's IoT platform, DeviceWise Platform. It supports various speeds depending on the communication method in various wireless data networks via UART, RS232/485, and I/O, and provides accurate and fast positioning capabilities through the built-in Standalone GPS.

In addition, remote control via SMS is possible, and firmware can be upgraded remotely by supporting FOTA (Firmware Over The Air) via FTP. It supports various external ports such as RS-232 and GPIO PORT, making it applicable to a wide range of M2M applications required for sensor integration.

The Telit HE910 module is an ultra-compact form factor module that supports all WCDMA frequency bands in 3G mode and is suitable for high-capacity multimedia data processing applications and devices. Due to its wide availability, the HE910 allows applications to be used regardless of the frequency of each country, making it advantageous for products supplied to the global market.
