NI Seeks LabVIEW Coding Champion in Asia Region
Published2016.06.14 14:09National Instruments (ni.com/korea, hereinafter NI) announced that it will launch a LabVIEW coding contest starting June 14th to select a LabVIEW champion in the Asia region.
The contest, open to any engineer using LabVIEW, will be held simultaneously in Korea, China, and Taiwan. The grand prize winner will receive complimentary registration to the US NIWEEK 2017 Conference (including airfare, accommodation, and entry fee), a festival attended by approximately 3,200 engineers and scientists worldwide.
The contest will be conducted over five rounds in total, with participants advancing to the main competition after passing the first online preliminary test. Two semifinalists selected from each country will compete in the final round at NIDays 2016 in Beijing, China in November to determine the Asia LabVIEW Champion.
Han Jeong-kyu, Team Lead of Strategic Marketing at Korea NI, stated, "We hope that Korean engineers will share and promote their LabVIEW skills and experience on the Asian stage."
Contest registration will be accepted online (http://bit.ly/lvcontest_KR) through June 21st.

NI Korea Hosts Measurement and Control Symposium for R&D and Industrial Engineers
National Instruments (ni.com/korea, hereinafter NI) announced that it will host a "Measurement and Control Symposium for Researchers and Industrial Engineers" at COEX Seoul on June 1st and in Busan on June 16th. Korean NI has structured the sessions based on practical content required by researchers and industrial engineers in their work. As the domestic industry has moved beyond an era emphasizing production to one emphasizing efficiency, the current trend is the adoption of online-based condition monitoring systems to reduce downtime in industrial facilities and enable efficient equipment operation. In response, NI will organize a machine condition monitoring session and present concrete solutions applicable to Korea based on actual cases implemented both overseas and domestically.

NI Announces Accurate, High-Performance Digital Multimeter
National Instruments (ni.com/korea, hereinafter NI) has announced the NI PXIe-4081, a 7½ digit resolution digital multimeter (hereinafter, DMM) that offers the highest accuracy and performance in the industry. The NI PXIe-4081 is the industry's first PXI Express DMM and also functions as a 1.8MS/s isolated digitizer. Ecolab and K-water Discuss Innovation Collaboration in Advanced Industry Water Management
