Sarotech (CEO Park Sang-in) has launched the 'AKiTiO Thunder3 Duo Pro', the industry's first Thunderbolt 3rd generation storage.
The 'AKiTiO Thunder3 Duo Pro' is a dual-bay RAID storage with Thunderbolt 3rd generation equipped with a Type-C connector, and its greatest advantage is that it delivers ultra-high-speed transfer rates of 40Gb/s, which is 4 times faster than Thunderbolt 1st generation (10Gb/s). This product can accommodate two 3.5"/2.5" SATA HDDs and SSDs, and supports up to 16TB.
The 'AKiTiO Thunder3 Duo Pro' supports two Thunderbolt 3 ports and various interfaces including USB3.1 (Gen-1, 5Gb/s) and DisplayPort (DP). In particular, it provides two Thunderbolt 3 ports, which are the fastest interfaces currently available, allowing multiple Thunderbolt devices to be connected in parallel through daisy-chain functionality. Additionally, for USB ports, USB Type B ports are provided to ensure compatibility with legacy systems, and for DisplayPort, additional monitors can be connected directly without any additional equipment.
Furthermore, this product is equipped with a hardware RAID controller (RAID 0, 1, SPAN, Single) allowing users to select RAID configurations that match their working environment. In other words, if fast data processing speed is desired, RAID 0 (striping) can be selected, and if data stability is required, RAID 1 (mirroring) can be chosen.
The 'AKiTiO Thunder3 Duo Pro' features a high-quality aluminum case with excellent durability and is equipped with a cooling fan to rapidly dissipate internal heat, maintaining stable operation even during extended drive operation. Since the fan power switch is located on the exterior, the built-in fan can be completely turned off if a quiet working environment is desired. It features a Kensington security slot for enhanced security.

The price of the 'AKiTiO Thunder3 Duo Pro' is 549,000 KRW (HDD excluded), and it is available for purchase through online shopping malls such as G-Market, Auction, and 11Street, as well as Sarotech's shopping mall (shop.sarotech.com).

Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
