Provides high-quality wireless audio streaming with built-in CSR aptX solution
CSR, a leading global leader in personal wireless communication and Bluetooth technology, announced today that it has provided its aptX technology to Conran Audio, a British designer brand that has recently emerged in the high-end audio market. Through CSR's aptX technology, which provides high-quality stereo over Bluetooth wireless capabilities, Conran Audio has joined the leading group of iPod speaker dock manufacturers.

This reflects the recent trend of a rapidly increasing number of customers demanding CD-quality sound as a standard feature in wireless speaker dock products.
In addition to playing 'wired audio' physically connected to iPods and iPhones, the Conran Audio Speaker Dock can play 'wireless audio' streamed remotely from tablets such as iPads, laptops, smartphones, and portable media players equipped with Bluetooth and A2DP. Furthermore, the Conran Dock is compatible with aptX, providing full-bandwidth stereo audio of CD quality via a wireless Bluetooth connection.
Jonny McClintock, Director of Sales and Marketing at aptX, stated, “CSR has established a very successful relationship with Armor Home, the worldwide distributor of the newly launched Conran Audio speaker dock.” Armor Home owns numerous famous audio brands, including Q Acoustics, a loudspeaker manufacturer that has won a Design Win.
