Product trial opportunity provided to commemorate the launch of the 'P Series' workstations

Lenovo Korea (CEO: Yong-Nam Kang, www.lenovo.com/kr) held a workstation open seminar at G-Valley Convention Center in Guro Digital Complex on the 22nd and launched the new Lenovo Workstation P Series product family, which features top-level performance and work flexibility.

At the event, which was held in two parts, Lenovo Korea introduced its new workstation products, the 'ThinkStation P Series' and 'ThinkPad P Series,' and also hosted a special lecture featuring invited guests. In addition, the company exhibited the new products, providing attendees with an opportunity to experience them firsthand and receive consultations.

The newly released 'ThinkStation P Series' tower workstations feature a modular structure that allows for easy and convenient tool-free upgrades. They support the latest Intel Xeon processors, NVIDIA Quadro graphics cards, DDR4 ECC memory, and customization via FLEX functionality. Furthermore, the product lineup has been further subdivided to suit customer businesses and needs, allowing for configuration with desired specifications. The ThinkStation will be released in a total of five models, including the P910, P710, P510, P410, and P310.

The P910 is a workstation suitable for handling demanding problems in fields such as CAD, CAM, media and entertainment, and life science R&D. Equipped with the latest Intel Xeon E5-2600 v4 dual processors and NVIDIA Quadro M6000 graphics cards, it delivers top-tier performance. Additionally, it features an industry-leading 14 storage slots and can be configured for up to 1TB of memory using up to 16 DDR4 DIMMs, enabling faster storage and processing of large amounts of data.

The P710 and P510 are workstations suitable for high-performance video production, editing, and 3D rendering applications, and can be equipped with the latest Intel Xeon E5-2600 v4 dual and single processors and NVIDIA Quadro M6000 graphics cards. Furthermore, they support high-end NVIDIA Maximus configurations combining Quadro and Tesla cards, making them suitable for fields requiring high performance.

The P410 is a newly added lineup that enhances the marketability of the P310. In particular, by supporting a higher number of cores and memory capacity than entry-level workstations currently on the market, it minimizes the performance and price gap between mainstream workstations. It is equipped with the latest Intel Xeon E6-2600 v4 processor and supports NVIDIA Quadro graphics cards and up to 128GB of DDR4 ECC memory.

The P310, an entry-level workstation offering stable performance and flexibility, is equipped with Intel Xeon or Intel Core processors and can be configured with NVIDIA Quadro or Intel integrated graphics. It is available in two form factors, tower and small, and allows users to pay only for the performance they need through the FLEX module and FLEX bay.

Lenovo Korea has launched the P50s and P40 Yoga as mobile workstations, following the existing ThinkPad P70 and P50. Both products feature 15.6-inch and 14-inch IPS displays, respectively, supporting up to 178-degree viewing angles and 3K resolution. They boast powerful performance, equipped with the latest Intel Core i7 processor and an NVIDIA Quadro M500M graphics card based on the latest Maxwell architecture. Each product has obtained certification to run professional ISV (Independent Software Vendor) applications.

The P40 Yoga is the first mobile workstation to support multi-mode functionality. Designed for professionals engaged in creative tasks such as sketching, animation, and 3D, it features touchscreen and Active Pen technology capable of detecting up to 2,048 levels of pressure sensitivity and is equipped with up to 16GB of DDR3 memory. The 360-degree rotating display can be utilized in four different modes—laptop, tablet, tent, and stand—depending on the usage environment.
