Founded in 2014, M&NH launched its H.265 encoder IP in September of that year and successfully entered the market through an H.265 IP license agreement in 2015. In October of the same year, it launched AXI chip-to-chip IP and expanded its customer base upon entering 2016 with the release of a deep learning acceleration-based encoder IP. In March last year, it entered into a reselling partnership for the Chinese region.

The company is expanding its customer base among fabless companies, design houses, complete set manufacturers, system integrators, IT services, R&D research institutes, and defense industry companies based on IPs developed to date. Application fields include VR, UHD TV, drones, automotive and other areas, and can be utilized in video image compression and playback for various other fields such as surveillance cameras, action cameras, and smartphones.

The core application field of H.265 video compression IP is video data recording and playback processing for 360-degree omnidirectional content, which is 6-20 times larger than conventional TV. H.265, which improved compression ratio by 50% from the existing H.264 technology, is an essential IP for high-quality video compression and playback in UHD, VR and other applications.
