Citibank Improves Paperless Work Innovation with Adoption of Wacom 'DTU-1141' at Nationwide Branches

Wacom Korea, the Korean subsidiary of Wacom, announced that it is operating an improved paperless system by fully deploying 317 units of Wacom’s digital signature tablet DTU-1141 at approximately 126 branches of Citibank Korea nationwide.

Citibank Korea launched a paperless (electronic document process) implementation project to introduce Wacom DTU-1141 tablets to computerize the financial product subscription system and improve services. After an 8-month installation and pilot operation period, a total of 317 tablets were installed across Citibank Korea's branches nationwide, creating a smart customer service environment.
Citibank Korea is implementing a completely paperless system that eliminates the use of paper documents for its 'pre-application service,' which allows customers to apply in advance for services such as account opening and card issuance, by installing tablets at each branch.


With Citi's pre-application service, customers can complete an application form via PC or smartphone before visiting a branch, visit their preferred branch at a convenient time for simple identity verification, and sign the digital document using an electronic pen on a Wacom tablet. This service is gaining customer trust by ensuring faster processing, reducing management costs, and enhancing the security of personal information.

The Wacom digital signature tablet DTU-1141 features a clear 10.6-inch Full HD color LCD and a resolution of up to 1920x1080 pixels, and supports various business software applications suitable for each use case. Equipped with a screen featuring excellent image quality, durability, and anti-glare, it allows you to view content clearly, just like reading paper documents, even under lighting. It supports state-of-the-art RSA/AES encryption to securely protect transaction processes, and its compact size makes it suitable for installation in most stores or at counters.
