The "European Hardware Awards," which selected Netgear's wireless router Nighthawk™ R8000 model as "Best Wireless Router," is an award presented by the "European Hardware Association (EHA)" through fair evaluation of various IT hardware products sold across Europe annually by member countries. This year, award-winning products in each category were selected through fair evaluation by various IT and hardware specialist websites from a total of 9 member countries including the United Kingdom, Netherlands, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain.
The R8000, Netgear's Nighthawk X6 AC3200 tri-band premium wireless router selected as "Best Wireless Router" in this "European Hardware Awards," is an 802.11ac wireless router product supporting a maximum speed of 3.2Gbps. It provides three dedicated WiFi bands—one in the 2.4GHz frequency band and two in the 5GHz frequency band—thereby guaranteeing the highest wireless speed and optimal wireless coverage for all surrounding wireless devices.
This premium wireless router enables simultaneous streaming to multiple devices at the highest wireless speed through next-generation wireless transmission technology. Additionally, through Netgear's proprietary Beam Forming+ technology, it automatically detects clients moving within offices and homes and concentrates WiFi signal transmission, thereby supporting superior signal transmission distance and radio wave strength improvement compared to conventional wireless routers.
The Netgear R8000 premium gigabit wireless router features convenient operation and various security functions. In addition to easy setup for tablet PCs, smartphones, and computers, network monitoring and control are readily accessible from anywhere through the Netgear Genie application. It also features upgraded website access control functions, WiFi for energy saving, built-in power on/off button and LED on/off button.
