3S Solution Announces Liteon Built-in ODDs iHDS118 and iHAS124

3S Solution recently signed an official ODD distribution agreement with Liteon, a Taiwanese computer component manufacturer, and launched the Liteon DVD-ROM iHDS118 and DVD-MULTI iHAS124.

The newly released Liteon ODD is an upgraded version of the existing Liteon ODD that was unofficially distributed in Korea, and is evaluated as a product with excellent compatibility and safety.

The iHDS118 is a DVD-ROM optimized for reading discs. It is capable of reading at speeds up to 18x and features SMART X, which adopts an automatic speed adjustment method to prevent errors and efficiently transfer data.

In particular, the iHDS118 utilizes Liteon's proprietary technology, the ABS SYSTEM, which is optimized for noise reduction and vibration prevention, to minimize inconvenience for consumers when reading discs.

It has also been optimized to allow stable use of various functions on Windows 10, and is compatible with many other operating systems.

The 'iHAS124' is a DVD-MULTI product capable of reading and writing discs, unlike the iHDS118. Like the iHDS118, it is equipped with SMART X, which adopts an automatic speed adjustment method for efficient data transfer, and features an ABS SYSTEM optimized for noise reduction and vibration prevention.

In particular, iHAS124 is equipped with a SMART-BURN feature that enhances efficiency through automatic adjustment of the recording method to prevent errors and provide the best media quality, demonstrating efficient and outstanding performance for consumers when recording discs.

Unlike conventional Liteon ODDs, the iHAS124 utilizes M-DISC technology, which enables semi-permanent storage by engraving data onto the layers of the optical disc, allowing users to use the product more conveniently.

In addition, it has been optimized to allow stable use of various functions on Windows 10 and is compatible with many other operating systems. Furthermore, media compatibility can be trusted through various product quality tests, such as vibration and drop tests.
