Microchip Opens Registration for the 7th Korea Masters Conference
Annual event to be held at Gonjiam Resort from October 25 to 26

Microchip Technology (Korea Representative: Han Byung-don) announced that it has begun registration for the 7th Korea MASTERS Conference.

This conference marks the seventh annual event since its inception in 2010 and is scheduled to be held from October 25 to 26 at the Gonjiam Resort in Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do. Online registration and detailed event information are available on the Microchip website (www.microchip.com/km).

This year's theme is “Inspire, Inform, Innovate”

Microchip’s Korea Masters Conference is the premier technical training event for embedded control engineers. This year’s theme is “Inspire, Inform, Innovate,” and the event provides a platform for sharing and exchanging technical information, including design resources for utilizing Microchip products in various applications, as well as offering participating design engineers access to Microchip’s vast product portfolio. The event offers a wide range of lectures and hands-on training tailored to the skill levels of all engineers, and will also feature various training sessions on Atmel products, which were recently acquired by Microchip.



All participating engineers can choose to attend comprehensive training on embedded design in addition to Microchip products. This includes Bluetooth® Low Energy, LoRaWAN™, Ethernet switches, USB Type-C™, CAN-FD, Embedded Linux, Core-independent peripherals, Motion and position, 3D gesture technology, Practical I2C, Embedded application security and authentication, Precision instrumentation amplifiers, LED driver topologies, and Microchip’s MPLAB® development framework.

Training related to Atmel is available for AVR, Qtouch, SAM L21, Cortex-M0+, SAM E70, and Cortex-M7. A total of 19 courses are scheduled, 11 of which are hands-on courses where participants can learn more about specific applications by writing code themselves using development tools.

Han Byeong-don, Country Manager of Microchip Korea and Head of North Asia, stated, “We have high expectations for what will be showcased at this year’s Korea Masters Conference,” adding, “The technical training courses offered at this conference will play a crucial role in shortening development time, and I am confident that engineers who complete the training will be able to obtain all the information necessary for applying and implementing new designs.”

In addition, networking sessions are prepared for collaboration partners and attendees to discuss relevant design topics, as well as opportunities to meet with development tool experts from partner companies. In addition, various booths will be set up at the venue, allowing attendees to view exhibited products between training sessions and enhance their understanding of Microchip and partner products. Several side events are scheduled to take place in the evening for all participants.

Register by September 30

The conference registration fee is 150,000 KRW, which includes participation in the Masters Conference training, all training materials, meals, and facility usage. A 10% early bird discount is available for those who complete registration and payment by September 30. A 10% discount is also available to those who attended the 2015 Korea Masters or reserved registration for the Korea Masters Conference at the 2015 Microchip Technology Fair.
